Tasty Tuesday errr. Wednesday this week.

I did a spin off from last week's cinnamon rolls and went orange. They were tasty, but for some reason the dough in the middle was well, not cooked. Not sure what happened.

But here is what I did. Just follow the directions for making the dough, then grab a fresh orange. Wash it and zest 3/4 of it onto the rolled out dough. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (or granulated sugar) whichever your preference. Roll loosely, cut and let rise for 2 hours or so.

Bake as directed before, although I might leave mine in a little longer next time.

Orange Roll Frosting

4 tbsp butter, softened
remaining zest from orange
1/2 orange, squeeze out juice
1/2 - 1 bag powdered sugar

Mix well and spread onto rolls. YUM!
